gun shops in suffolk

Post by 22-250jock » 20 Aug 2013, 21:02

hi lads,
having a weeks holiday up in Suffolk (halesworth to be exact) next week and just wondered if anyone can recommend any gun shops that have a good supply of reloading components,
just thought could kill two birds with one stone, so to speak :D
could always tell the mrs that there's supposed to me some nice shops in the area, and stock up on some powder and heads at the same time ;)

cheers jock

If your in Halesworth you have to visit Richardson's, you won't get any reloading supplies but you will step back into the 1950's love the place

Only place with any amount of reloading gear is Riflecraft in Harleston, not silly far away plus they have some rather nice rifles being Barret and Kimber agents
Land Rovers, who would be daft enough to own one?

Jock, you could try http://www.trulockandharris.com/ they have a good range of kit and do some reloading equipment. There's also a few places to visit in the area as well so you might get it past the missus without too much trouble.

Morning John,

Was there anything in particular you were after? I've got loads of surplus kit accrued over the years and I gained a load of new/once used stuff recently from Theo aka Thesmi to get the Tikka .17Rem. (And very nice it is too! )

I've got various RCBS, Redding, Lee, Lyman dies....223, 243, 22-250, presses, scales, pact(rcbs) electronic scales and chargemaster combo, Lyman electronic scales, powder throwers, tubs of H4350, 55grn .224 bullets, some brass incl. a truckload of once-fired Norma 300WM. Just need to get arse into gear and do a proper list... but other priorities (Just waiting for the brickies to arrive) .

Whilst your on hols, for new stuff, including the top quality kit, I can recommend Mark aka Spud, at Spud1967...just north of Aylsham near Norwich. Font of all knowledge reloading, always very helpful and worth a call...... http://1967spud.com

There's a new advertiser on the SD but don't know any background or what his stock levels are like... shop is in Saham Toney wherever that may be... bold claims for his first post over there http://www.thestalkingdirectory.co.uk/s ... ading-Gear.

Spud w'be my choice of the 2.

Cheers
