Post by fizzbangwhallop » 16 Oct 2013, 10:34

Got a flier from 7DS this morning and they've got a pack of 16 2900mAh AA's on special at £19.15 inc Vat. Dunno about postage though.

What batteries are you currently using the in photon?

I'm using some Halfords ones that I brought months ago in a multi pack for the Lidl trail cam.

Would different types of AA's be better than others?

Paul,
I've been using these Vapex 2900mah AA batteries for a few years now and I find them excellent.
This is what I use in my Guide thermal and I get 2-2 1/2hours continuois from them.
Their 4 battery charger is also excellent

I've been using them for several years... mainly in the FoxPro, with no problems.

There's bound to be better out there somewhere but it's finding them...... and then they're likely to be more expensive to boot.

Good stuff,
