china imports via eBay.
DEALING WITH CHINA on eBay
The government are trying to have stronger trading links with China.
The British public have been dealing with China many years on eBay, But there are some Chinese company’s trading on eBay that there trading policies fail to meet the British public’s business ethnics of customers service in quality of goods , sales & service were disputes are raised !.
To all eBay customer YOUTUBE & Facebook users please make a note of this eBay seller as they have no customer support in any respect,
This trader / seller policy is as stated they do not resending replacement for faulty goods!!
They quote!!
Our system doesn't support resending now. In this case, how about we refund you 3GBP as compensation and u can go to ur local stores to see if they have the replacement plug? Is it ok for you?
This item was a rechargeable battery with charger cost £26.65 faulty charger after first charge and the offer the above. SO THE BATTERY IS OF NO GOOD WITHOUT A SPECIAL CHARGER WITH BUILT IN CUT OUT !!

I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU NOT TO TRADE WITH THIS COMPANY

You are protected via PayPal protection.
Put in a complaint withing 30 days.
Anything that does not turn up within 28 days you need to put in a complaint.
If the item turns up you can withdraw the complaint.
If you leave it to late its just tuff.

Re: china imports via eBay.
You should always start a claim before the 30 days are up.
Once its active, No matter if they reply or not.
Wait a further 7 days and then you can esculate the claim and get a refund/
If you miss either deadlines your stuffed.
You also need to take into account of the chinese new year which slows everything down.
As a second safe guard set the paypal payment to come from your credit card.

If it hasn't arrived by 30 days open a dispute. If it arrives the close it, if it doesn't you have covered your back.
It's a little sneaky but if you receive something that has a fault they will tell you to send it back so they can check. They know your not going to spend £20 sending it back so they win. You loose.
But if you don't receive the item they sent out another one.

I'm fairly sure that they have reduced the time period, well worth checking if your goods have not arrived within 3 weeks which is quite long enough to wait. You only need to send the seller a message telling them that the goods have not arrived and ebay automatically open a dispute for you and then you need to keep on top of it.
Re: china imports via eBay.
I use ebay a fair bit, both buying and selling and am vary wary of China. I tend to only buy cheap nick nacks, recently a barrel/ torch bracket and a rubber whatsit. Eye thing you press your eye too on scopes..... Anyway, all below $10.00 and post free. Whats to loose? If its rubbish, bin it.
My advise would be to only ebay china for cheapies. Save the pricier purchases for UK based business. Which makes far more sense to me anyway.

Re: china imports via eBay.
I suspect the fact that they will probably suffer dire consequences if they post batteries now since the recent change to Chinese air freight lithium laws might play a small part in this to be fair.
Also bear in mind that the item will probably cost near double the price if you buy it in the UK.
