My cousin is another one. Ran into a new roundabout in fog on his bike. Sore back, so went to chiropractor. Chiro insisted on xray first. Fractured vertebrae. It's remarkable how mobile you can be with something busted. I walked around for months with one vertebra in about 14 pieces, only had it xrayed after the fractures has joined up.Looked like a jigsaw puzzle.

Go get checked out. If only to keep us old grannies from worrying about you.

Have to agree with the sentiments expressed above.
Get it looked at.
You are not 'bothering them' it's their job.

Glad you are O.k. though!

Ken.

I deny being one of them... But the missus will disagree
Hope you are feeling better today.

Don't havg around. Get yourself down to a&E. You need to log the injury as soon as and get checked out. If anything goes wrong later it must be logged so taking 2 aspirin and saying I'll be fine is not the way to go.
Without being a drama queen if anything goes wrong you could keel over. Get checked out immediately and worry about the compo later.
Tell them everything so if questioned in court later or when arguing with solicitors they cannot say you added it on.

And as for solicitors, that is another matter. Do not necessarily take the insurance one. They are paid to get the case cleared quickly. I had a bloke do a u turn on me on the bike when I was overtaking and the stupid bint wanted me to accept half the liability. I spent more time arguing with her than the other blokes company. :(

I digress. Go get checked for your health if nothing else.

Went to a&e this morning as chest had started to get quite painful :o As I thought though, just bruising etc from coming to a sudden stop. The doc did a deal with me, either go and wait for an ecg or promise him that if it got worse or symptoms changed then I would ring an ambulance immediately .............. I promised  He was 99.99% sure just whiplash, it was the 0.1% he was concerned about

Coincidentally, about an hour after getting back to work the insurance legal team rang to check uninsured losses  Hadn't bothered to ring Friday or Saturday, makes you wonder just what information is given out and to whom doesn't it

Nah, in and out in half an hour. Lot of my family work at the hospital so if it looks like being a long job I just get one of them to fast track me through  Didn't need to this time though
