It's a heavy lens to be hanging off the plastic photon housing, 700 grams, or there abouts. IIRC, Gypo is the only guy running an Extreme with this lens, so he is your best source of advice.

Yes it is M42 mount.

FWIW I bought my 75mm Cosmicar from him and it was exactly as described.

Now you are potentially looking at another lens: I have one of those Cyclops NVD's complete with lens here if you want it... depending on where some woman put it for safe keeping never to be found again lol.

I've got one on my photon as Rad has said and I find it great, not at all focus fussy either. It is heavy, I haven t had any issues with it re the weight.
