Are these what you are after?

If you can wait two weeks for them to arrive, PM me an address and I'll send two by airmail from OZ tomorrow morning OZ time - basically gives you 14 hours to reply. After that I am going bush for three weeks.

Re: 26mm x10 mm convex lens
cheers i checked the reviews & one says they fit the 501 so i will try a couple ,many thanks (the torches are only for going to the horses at night ) cheers
Re: 26mm x10 mm convex lens
They do fit the 501B, but gave a very weird 'ringed' light effect. I tried blacking the reflector out, no real difference. Still, if you want them I'm happy to pay forward the help I've received from other forum members.
Dave, are the ones in my link the type you are supplying? Any tricks to fitting them to get a decent image?

Re: 26mm x10 mm convex lens
They are the ones I currently use for my budget short range conversions on ebay - but I have some coming from elsewhere to sample them.
I use the Ahorton lens in my more expensive longer range ones - which of course have a shorter back focal length that are in my signature picture.

Thanks Dave.
wiseoldowl, if you want the DX lens give me a PM. If you want a good thrower light with a clean image, then try the AHorton lens available through Dave or Trouty, or even Mr Horton himself over at Candle Power Forums.
Or you could just get a white light T20.
I'll be off a little after midnight, Greenwich time. Best to let me know before I go.

I like a man with a red 502b - it shows he has character.
