You need to be pretty sure of what you're buying, matey.
The resolution is approximately the same as older Gen 2
The Light amplification is a little bit better than most Gen 1
The built-in IR torches are very, very good though.

I found the Ranger needs to be focussed precisely otherwise the image is unreadably soupy.
Finally, I cut out a small disk of Green Gel film (a la theatrical stage lights) and inserted it into the eyepiece, because the screen is so damn bright it wrecks your eye's night-adjustment.

Unless you are totally sure that you can live with these foiables, I would recommend against spending £300 on one.
I'd sell mine, but would feel like I was robbing you if I took £150 for it.

The Armasight Spark is by far better.

:)

eBay has some great stuff on it this week, it may cost more than a Ranger, but you gets what you pays for, if you knows what you pays for is cheap for what it is... if you knows what I mean.

They are generally better than Gen 1 gear, so if you can find one for £100 go for it.

If you connect one to a screen you'll get a better picture.... but if you're going down that route there are better cameras about.

If you do a search on ranger pro on here you should get to the thread on remote mounted stuff to get a good idea of what's what, ditto on the airgun bbs and on uk varminting.

But as a pair of standalone binos they're a faff to get right.
