Put a few Views on this for me please chaps

Post by some bloke » 18 Aug 2014, 03:45

Chinese eBay vendor taking the piss.

Maybe make a comment about not trusting them and mention their feedback on it too.

I bought five of these for spotter builds, and when they came and looked OK - and fitted the sample box I ordered five more without actually connecting them up - well who would have thought the screens were smashed without showing on a visual inspection:

Nice video and all...

Mind telling us who the dealer is so we don't buy from them?

That's really gutting, Dave. They should have apologise and resent new ones to you. Having had negative esperience myself when ordering from China, I can guess that these monitors were pacaged with no protection and with the screens all facing the same side.

Good of you mentioning this on the forum. I won't be buying one of these, from these people.

178 negative feedback in the last month alone!! They have 10,000 positive feedback though (in the last month)

It seems that the business cant cope with the customer service enquiries, all focus is getting products out of the doors.

I ordered a monitor from that seller 10 weeks back, on the month of not receiving them I demanded a refund which I got after a little hustle, it turned up few days back, packed in Jiffy bag without a box, I suspected that the screen was cracked. After a little test, it was ok, screen flickers a bit after start, but the resolution is no where near the advertised.

The 2 5in screens I got both came in boxes well packed,2 different sellers.
Dave you need to open a case before the time limit runs out, from memory it starts the day you buy the item and not the day it arrived, don't fall for any stalling tactics by the seller, open the case and do not close it,escalate after the 15 days otherwise you may find time has run out.

Just open the case anyway. Saying they will refund you, then dragging their chain until the cut off point for lodging a case is an old technique.
