Good morning and thank you.

Post by PESCA » 10 Nov 2011, 08:31

Well, after a few days away from the site after not being able to log on, I'm finally back, thanks to all of the admin members who worked so hard to make it possible.

I run a Mac, and it turns out that the new site does not like my browser, Safari. Changed browser and all okay now.

Lots of frustration and tedious hours for everyone concerned (you know who you are ;) ), so thanks again.

But I wouldn't go back to the dark side Gloop!!

PC users......... wondering if it'll still work in the morning....... and then if the anti-virus needs updating........ again........... and again.

The only thing I miss is Word but then I've never really got into Pages.

But you don't have to miss Word. I've got Office for Mac. Cheap as chips too (Software for Students).

I realise that there are some compatibility problems with software when using a Mac, and not quite as much choice, but there's no way I'd change back. 100% agree with you in regard to the lack of viruses.
